Out of Dark Waters
The hunter
waits in silent waters, biding its time to rise and feed. A dark presence
stalks this story’s heroes, if they can be called heroes at all. Petty
adventurers, barely hoping to make something of
themselves. They are the stoic warrior, seeking vengeance. The priestess,
struggling to believe. The elderly gnome, stumbling on ancient spells. And
Vander, a failed soldier and a broken man, waking from nightmares of
dragonfire.
But
something crueler than their memories will find them. With
luck as much as skill they may escape it once. Even twice. But the
hunter does not give up its prey. If they are to survive, they must learn to
trust themselves and each other. They must forgive themselves for past
mistakes to face the future. Then, perhaps, they may become something more
than they ever expected.
Out of
Dark Waters is a dark
adventure inspired by the classic fantasy of the 80’s and 90’s. It blends
humor, mystery, and cosmic horror with the wonder of high fantasy to tell
a story of forgiveness, redemption, and friendship.
